Temporary piercing: needles and spirit.

Temporary piercing is one of many scenes leather folks indulge in. What many don't realize is that there is a long tradition of using temporary piercing as a ritual tool for spiritual journeying. Throughout history, many natives cultures have practiced these rituals. Some still do.

This discussion will focus on techniques for temporary piercing scenes that enhance the spiritual aspects. In part this will include a demo that anyone present is encouraged to join. We call it a 'Baby Pull'. As part of this demo you will learn to pierce yourself, to submit to someone else piercing you, and to practice some techniques that will result in an emotional response and spiritual expansion. It isn't necessary to be pierced to be participate.

"The presenter, Yossie S - a leatherman has more than two decades of experience "in the scene." He is a long time associate member of both The 15 Association and the Chicago Hellfire Club. He has a decade of experience at instructing and facilitating piercing-based rituals for groups.
